Power Units

Producing high voltage, low current in a controlled and safe way is the primary function of each Fraser Anti static Power Unit.

Our power units allow multiple AC products to be connected, requiring only a straightforward mains input.

There are a range of power units available depending upon size, load, capacity and total number of outputs required.

 

FRASER HP50-1 (Maximum Load: 10 m of combined Bar and HT Cable)

The HP50-1 produces high voltage, low current in a controlled and safe way to provide the power for Fraser AC High Performance static eliminators working on 5.5kV and 6kV.

  • Compact size makes it especially suitable for small machines.
  • The flat wave form of the high voltage combines high performance with low stress for long term reliability.
  • On-off switch is standard.
  • Stainless steel bayonet connectors for fast and easy connection of static eliminators.

FRASER HP50-2 (Maximum Load: 12 m of combined Bar and HT Cable)

The HP50-2 is a compact power unit and can serve up to two static eliminators. It produces high voltage, low current in a controlled and safe way to provide the power for Fraser AC High Performance static eliminators working on 5.5kV.

  • It has stainless steel bayonet connectors for fast and easy connection of static eliminators.
  • Construction IP54 rated.
  • On-off switch is standard. Also available for OEM use without switch (HP50-2-OEM.)
  • Compact size makes it suitable for large and small machines.

FRASER HP50-4 (Maximum Load: 12 m of combined Bar and HT Cable)

 

HP Power Units supply the energy to run the latest high performance static eliminators from Fraser. They offer many advantages for the international manufacturer. The HP50 produces high voltage, low current in a controlled and safe way to provide the power for Fraser AC High Performance static eliminators working on 5.5kV.

  • It has bayonet connectors for fast and easy connection of the static eliminators. The HP50 can power up to four static eliminators.
  • Remote monitor options to link with customers PLC, showing whether static eliminators are working and also if they require cleaning.
  • Construction IP54 rated.
  • All the controls and cables are on one face.

FRASER HP50-F (Maximum Load: 30 m of combined Bar and HT cable)

A High Load HP Power Unit that supplies the energy to run the latest high performance static eliminators from Fraser. They offer many advantages for the international manufacturer.The HP50-F produces high voltage, low current in a controlled and safe way to provide the power for Fraser AC High Performance static eliminators working on 5.5kV 6kV.

  • It has bayonet connectors for fast and easy connection of the static eliminators. The HP50-F can power up to four static eliminators.
  • Remote monitor options to link with customers PLC, showing whether static eliminators are working and also if they require cleaning.
  • Construction IP54 rated.
  • All the controls and cables are on one face.

EXHP Power Unit (Maximum Load: 30 m of combined Bar and HT cable)

A high load 6kV Power Unit which supplies the energy used to run the Fraser ATEX Certified EX1250 Static Eliminator Bars. The EXHP Power Unit offers many advantages for the international manufacturer.

The EXHP Power Unit produces the high voltage and low current in a controlled and safe way to provide the power for Fraser ATEX certified EX1250 Static Eliminator Bars.

The unique 6kV flat form transformer provides more ionisation with less stress.
It has bayonet connectors for fast and easy connection of the EX1250 Bars.
The EXHP can power up to four static eliminators.
Choice of monitoring options. A neon light can be fitted to the unit if required to show operational status on the case of the EXHP. Alternatively a remote monitoring option can link with your PLC, showing whether the static eliminators are working, and also if they require cleaning.
IP54 Construction.

HP CONNECTOR BOX - 4:1 CONNECTOR

For use with Fraser HP Connectors at up to 6kV. The HP Connector Box allows the operator to have a cable disconnect feature anywhere in the cable system.

  • Versatile use with standard Fraser HP connectors.
  • Cable length 2m unless otherwise specified. Maximum length 10m if within total load of power unit.
  • High voltage side totally enclosed for safer operation.
  • Suitable for Fraser 5.5kV and 6kV HP connectors. Weight with 2m cable: 800g.

Allows the customer:

  • To have cable distribution closer to application.
  • To have a cable disconnect between Power Unit and Static Eliminators (when power is turned off).
  • To serve a larger effective distance without increasing the load.
  • Suitable for Fraser 5.5kV and 6kV HP connectors. Weight with 2m cable: 800g.
  • The power at the Power Unit should be turned OFF before connecting or disconnecting a cable at the Connector Block.

The HP50-ION is part of Fraser’s comprehensive family of advanced power units which provide the high voltage required to produce ionisation in our range of AC static eliminators.

This HP Power Unit offers the added benefit of an Iontis performance monitoring system, giving the user live information on the status and efficiency of the system.

Designed to serve up to four Fraser static eliminators, the HP50-ION (Part No. 3111) has 6 kV of ionising power and can also be used to power Fraser EX-1250 Static Eliminators

The 9055-2 is part of Fraser’s comprehensive family of advanced power units which provide the high voltage required to produce ionisation in our range of AC static eliminators. A compact power unit, the 9055-2 is designed to serve up to two static eliminators.

The versatile HP In-Line Connector (HP ILC) allows the operator to have a cable disconnect feature anywhere in the static eliminator cable system or to lengthen existing cables Used with Fraser HP Connectors on 5.5 – 6 kV systems, the stainless steel HP ILC enables the customer to:

Have a cable disconnect between the power unit and static eliminator

Repair damaged HT cable

Extend the HT cable on existing static eliminators, subject to the maximum load of the power unit
