Static Generation

The IONFIX range of static generators from Fraser Anti-Static Techniques has been designed for creating temporary adhesion in industry.

IONFIX-COMPACT 30 KV ELECTROSTATIC GENERATOR

The use of Static Generation for temporary adhesion is increasingly popular within the plastic, packaging, paper and process industries because it is fast, clean, controllable and economic.
Fraser generators and electrodes provide the user with a complete temporary adhesion system that is easy to use, highly reliable and safe. Flexible interface design facilitates full integration with modern machinery and control systems.
  • The IONFIX Compact is a 30 kV, 20 W generator.
  • Delivers a full 20 W of power from 20 kV up to 30 kV.
  • AC input models: 90 - 250 V AC, 50/60 Hz, IEC 320 C14 inlet
  • DC input models: 24 V DC. Combicon or M12 connector.
  • Available in positive or negative polarities.
  • IML variants - output voltage limited to 20 kV. Compatible with the full range of Fraser IML accessories.
  • Four HV output connections.

IONFIX-PRO 150 W ELECTROSTATIC GENERATOR

The IONFIX-PRO is a 150 W Static Generator with 30 kV or 60 kV variants. Typical applications where this high power is essential include high speeds, non-stop winding, for holding stacks of materials together, and also pinning laminated worktops before being heat processed.

With local and remote monitoring as well as the option for fieldbus connectivity, the IONFIX-PRO has been designed for full integration into machinery and production processes. It has exceptional reliability, three levels of safety and a control interface that is quick and easy to use.

7080/7081 STATIC GENERATOR BARS

The 7080 & 7081 Generator Bars provide a safe, controllable, reliable and cost-effective method of applying static charge for temporary adhesion in industry.

Fraser Static Generators provide improved productivity in a range of industrial applications including interleaving steel sheets, pinning plastic sheets and webs, bag making, wrapping machines and other areas of temporary adhesion.

  • The emitters are spaced at 10mm pitch for an even application of static charge, without the striping effect common with wider spaced emitters.
  • The 7080 Bar has emitters which are resistively coupled to the HV for safe, non-sparking performance.
  • Compact size with rigid construction. Available in lengths up to 3000mm.
  • Easy installation - with M8 x 60mm nylon studs sliding in the T slot at the base of the 7080 Bar.
  • Flexible cable in protective nylon conduit.

The only difference between 7080 & 7081 Bars is that:

  • 7080 - has connector for obsolete 7330 & 7324 Generators.
  • 7081 - has connector for current 30kV models (7333, 7360 & 73150 Generators).

7090 & 7095 STATIC PINNERS

Fraser offers two types of electrode for electrostatic charging of small areas and pinning.

They are used for neck-in applications on cast film lines, edge pinning of films, in-mould labelling and other areas where temporary adhesion of two materials is required.

  • Easy to use static generation electrodes for use throughout industry.
  • Choice of two models: the compact 7090 and the wider 7095.
  • High voltage is resistively coupled with inline 100MOhm resistance for safe and spark free operation.
  • The high voltage terminations and resistors are encapsulated to ensure a longer life than unpotted competitive models.
  • HT cable protected by nylon conduit.

7093 EDGE PINNER

The 7093 has been specifically designed to allow accurate, high performance edge pinning on film using Fraser market leading static Generation systems.

The 7093 is used to pin plastic film, such as in neck-in applications in cast film production.

    • Adjustable tips allow easy installation in a range of applications.
    • Precise static generation exactly where it is needed.
    • Robust construction ensures long life.
    • Easy to install.
    • Stay-sharp emitters, easily replaceable.

7130 / 7150 / 7160 CHARGING ELECTRODES

The 7130/7150/7160 Charging Electrodes are static generation Bars which provide a safe, controllable, reliable and cost-effective method of applying static charge for temporary adhesion in industry.

Robust charging electrodes to meet the temporary adhesion requirements of high performance machinery.

  • Tungsten emitters for a long, trouble-free life. Up to 4 x the life of non-tungsten emitters.
  • The emitters are spaced at 10mm pitch for an even application of static charge, without the striping effect common with wider spaced emitters.
  • The emitters are resistively coupled to the HV for safe, non-sparking performance. Each emitter has an individual HV resistance to the high voltage.
  • Compact size with rigid construction. Available in lengths up to 4000mm.
  • Easy installation plastic mountings which slide in the T slot at the base of the Bar are supplied.
  • Flexible cable in protective nylon conduit.
  • Standard and optional models available - please see datasheet.
