Pressure Measurement For Gases

There are several principles for measuring pressure in Gases:

PROCESS PRESSURE

Function

In pipelines or closed vessels, pressure transmitters measure the pressure of liquids, gases and vapors. The pressure of the measured medium acts on a pressure measuring cell, which converts it into an electronic signal. These process pressure transmitters are ideal for detecting relative or absolute pressure in applications with condensation or rapid temperature changes.

DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE

Function

Large selection of measuring ranges & process fittings. Differential pressure of only a few mbar at high static pressure. High overload resistance

ELECTRONIC DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE

Function

In electronic differential pressure measurement, two sensors from the VEGABAR series are combined to form a unit. Electronic differential pressure is used for differential pressure measurement in filters and pumps, level measurements in pressure-superposed tanks, as well as for flow, density and interface measurements.
